Teachers tend to fill this grid first: July is peak season for camps, vacations, and coverage plans. Lesson blocks go in the week cells, duty rosters in the margins, and the ISO week numbers along the left edge keep classroom planning aligned with the term calendar.
Anyone who schedules for a living starts with the real capacity: 22 working days, after the 1 Canada statutory holidays are taken out. That number is printed right under the grid, next to the 23 weekday count it comes from, which makes July 2026 easier to promise things for. The marked dates are the federal statutory holidays that apply across Canada; provinces and territories add their own days on top of this set.
