Calendars you can make your own

Printemplates is a product from OWL App. It has two parts: a library of free printable calendars for 2026 and 2027, and a browser-based studio where you can design your own calendar and export it as a print-ready PDF. Both are free to use and neither needs an account.

Why we built it

Printing a calendar should be simple, but it often is not. Many free calendar files are low-resolution images that blur when printed, come in only one paper size, or put holidays on the wrong dates. We wanted calendars that print sharply on any home printer, fit the paper people actually have, and show holidays that can be checked against an official source.

A ready-made calendar only goes so far, so we added the studio for people who want their own photos and birthdays on the page. Instead of a fixed set of designs, it gives you editable templates with controls for layout, type, color, dates, and week starts, plus room for your own photos, text, shapes, and artwork.

How we check the dates

Every holiday on our calendars comes from an official source: the OPM federal holiday schedule for the United States, the gov.uk bank holiday list for England and Wales, the Fair Work public holidays list for Australia, and the federal general holidays list on canada.ca. Each calendar page links to its source, and each set lists the observed day when a holiday falls on a weekend. Our build process validates the holiday data before any calendar file is generated. Blank calendars are also available when you do not want holiday markings at all.

We are also clear about what a set covers. The UK set is for England and Wales, because Scotland and Northern Ireland have different bank holidays. The Australian and Canadian sets list national or federal holidays; states, territories, and provinces add their own days on top, and the calendar pages say so.

How the files are made

Our printable calendars are vector PDFs, which means the lines and numbers stay sharp at any size. Each calendar is offered in A4 and Letter, in portrait and landscape, so the file matches the paper in your printer. Every file keeps generous margins, so nothing gets cut off by a home printer's unprintable edge.

In the studio, the PDF is rendered in your browser. Projects and photos stay in your browser storage on your device, and you can export a project backup when you want to keep a copy elsewhere. We do not need to see your family photos to make your calendar.

How the site is funded

The calendars and the studio are free. To cover hosting and development, some public pages may show advertising. Ads are never placed inside the calendar files you download or export, and our privacy policy explains what data is used and the choices you have.
